Watch below to learn more about the course and also get an inside look into the lessons!
Understanding the fundamentals of Revit is critically important
Learning the proper ways to build your models, safeguarding your files from potential accidents, and taking advantage of the complexities of the program is critical to helping you develop better models faster.
The skills taught in this course will save you hours of frustration from having to keep making the same changes over and over, help you learn how to make your models more efficient, and learn how to expedite your drawing process.
How is this course different from others?
Instead of jumping from one feature to another, this course is designed to bring you through an entire project from start to finish, gradually introducing new skills and techniques along the way. Nothing is skipped over in this process and no assumptions of your skills are made in this course. Together, we’ll design and model a house, going through the entire process step-by-step. This course was designed to be taken in sequential order since each lesson builds on one another as we cover new information, techniques, skills, and terminology. The skills learned in this course carry over to any type of project you build in Revit.

WHAT WILL I BE LEARNING?
In this course, we'll go step-by-step through the entire process of designing and building a house and addition, all the way from setting up the program and learning about how to work efficiently, to constructing and detailing the house. We’ll start by setting up your file, getting comfortable with the tools, learning different ways to use drawing tools, and then we’ll go through the process of building the model and setting up drawing sheets. By the end of this course, you should have a very strong understanding of how to use the program, how to protect your drawings, how to work faster and smarter, and how to bring a project from conception to completion.
A shortlist of topics we'll cover:
Learning the user interface
Using and creating keyboard shortcuts
Utilizing reference planes
Phasing and organizing views
Type properties vs. instance properties
Constructing a house from the foundation to the roof to the interior finishes to the exterior finishes
Create basic custom families
Design and print sheets (aka drawing sets)
To get the most out of this course, I highly encourage you to model along with me so you can really grasp the concepts to use the program efficiently and proficiently, and are able to apply what you learn to your own projects.
What’s included in the COURSE?
100+ Video lessons totaling 12+ hours
