Video Transcript

Hey, happy Sunday!

I hope you're having an amazing day!

If this is your first time here, I'm Chelsea from TheStudentArchitect.com and today we're going to talk about how to hide crop views when you're printing in Revit.

If you're looking for a more structured way to learn Revit, you can always check out my Foundations of Revit class at TheStudentArchitect.com/classes.

Okay, so looking at this floor plan here, you can see that it is indeed cropped, so what I'm going to do is hit 'CTRL P' on the keyboard for printing.

We're just going to print this particular view. I'm not going to check any of my settings here, I'm just going to hit OK.

And you can see that I've already done a test print here, I'm just going to click on that to override the file. I'll say yes, and you can see when I zoom in here, that it is indeed showing that crop region, and that may or may not be something that you want to show.

If it's something that you want to hide, I will show you how to do that.

So I'm going to X out here, and again I'm going to hit 'CTRL P' on the keyboard, and I'll go to "setup" this time, and here you can see a few options for things that you can hide when you're printing.

So I'm going to check on "hide crop boundaries" hit OK, and you could save this for your future settings. I'm going to say no this time because this is just a test, then I'll hit OK, and this time we're going to say "without crop region" hit 'save' and here you can see the crop region is hidden.
